Post It Love had an incredible start to its initiative at the Ballard House, bringing together students and volunteers from across the community for a fun and productive evening of note-writing and packaging. The event was a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact that small acts of kindness can have on students' lives.
Groups that joined us this week are: National Honor Society members from Jordan High School, Cinco Ranch High School, and Fulshear High School, Prairie View A&M University students and National Charity League members.
The atmosphere was lively as music played in the background, creating a perfect environment for creativity and teamwork. Volunteers worked diligently to sort, stamp, and package encouraging notes for local students. In just two hours, our dedicated volunteers managed to pack an astounding 4,300 notes! This incredible achievement will provide weekly support for 1,800 students over the course of three school weeks. The energy and enthusiasm in the room were palpable, and we're thrilled with the outcome of our first event.
We're excited to build on this success and are already looking forward to next week's event. Our goal is to pack even more notes and expand our reach to support even more students in our community.
